IV Racing Uniform

 This year we're going with a different style of zootie. We're looking at producing a professional look when it comes to the UniSA Rowing Club and having a zootie that we are able to use over the years as well as hopefully at local regattas in the near future.

For the beginners out there that are unfamiliar with rowing uniforms, zooties or zoot suits are body suits worn by rowers in water trainings and events. Zooties come in many different colours and designs and reflect the development of rowing clothing from the earlier singlet and shorts.

The reason for zooties are not just to make a strong fashion statement but actually serve a purpose, a zootie allows a rower to move freely with out the possibility of catching oars on their clothing or catching loose fitting clothing onto part of the boat like the slide.

This year we are being are again getting the UniSA Rowing Club zootie from Simply Oarsome.
